10 Class B

The following is the procedure to perform class B with Orbiwise Network Server
  • Register the device in Dass. Select the "class B" in the lora parameters window. The RX slot 2 should be in line with RX slot 2 of the particular region.
    Login to Dass-> Manage Devices -> Add Device -> Enter Deveui and appkey - > Navigate to Lora Parameters window - > Set Device Class to B - > Set the RX Slot 2 which is allowed in the particular region as per the Lorawan Regional Parameters (SF9)
  • Enable beacon in the gateway from the NST (This is managed by Pervasive Nation)
  • Configure the device for the class B . For e.g. if a you are using a rising hf device following commands need to be executed in the device console.

  • Wait for the beacon acquisition
  • Once the beacon is locked, send some ULs from the device.
  • The corresponding PingSlotInfoReq and PingSlotInfoAns is displayed in the trace.
  • Schedule a DL from the dass and check whether the data is received in the device.
